Changing the Name of a Florida LLC
Changing your LLC's name is a simple process as long as you follow all the instructions. It requires obtaining the authority to change the name. Then filing the Articles of Amendment to Articles of Organization along with a $25.00 filing fee.
If you have more than one member in your company, review your operating agreement to determine if you have the authority to amend your articles of organization. If you have determined that you do have the authority to do so, you can update your records with the Division of Corporation of the State of Florida. Authority may be granted by a resolution of the Members of the Managers.
